BATTLES
Ground AND Space battles, ground ones are the standard fights with each character being a unit, SPACE ones are similar, but with entire ships instead of individual characters. - ideally, if possible, two or more can be happening at the same time! Example: ships shooting eachother on the space 'board', when it's the synodics turn, it zooms into a 'mini' battle happening in the ship at the same time. When every unit completes a turn, it zooms back out, giving the synodic itself a turn on the bigger board before continuing and repeating. Players can multi strategize separate battles at the same time!
TIME
after a certain number of battles/discoveries out in the world, time will move forward. Some quests or events will be locked to certain hours of the day (you can rest to pass time forward) running away from battles will stop time from passing, so as not to be frustrating when you need to be somewhere at a certain time
At night, it will become harder to see, lowering accuracy of every non nocturnal party member (melee will still be completely accurate) night will also turn 'resting' into 'camping' if you have camp supplies on you. Camping restores everyone's health to full, and skips through the entirety of night
If you can't camp, it's recommended to find your way to an inn, or even back to your ship. Same effect as camping, but without the consumption of supplies (of course inns usually charge, so it's up to you to pick your poison)
